Job description

The Food Service Coordinator supports the food service department in various areas including cashier, bussing, food prep, and kitchen support. This role involves working at our seasonal lunch restaurants, ice cream pavilion, pop-up locations for special events, and catered private functions at The Museum. This position offers a flexible schedule in a unique atmosphere.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Daily kitchen/restaurant set-up and food prep.
• Operating cash registers and handling transactions.
• Cleaning dining areas and workspaces daily.
• Restocking merchandise in restaurants.
• Assisting with food preparation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn various kitchen and food service tasks.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors, walking on uneven terrain.
• Age requirements: 16+ for customer service, 18+ for food prep/cook, 21+ for bartending roles.

Salary and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $15.50
