Food Service Associates provide service to all Break Time food service customers, adhering to high standards for food preparation, cleanliness, and company policies to ensure efficient operation during their shift. They are energetic individuals who aim to make a positive impact in a short time.

Responsibilities

As a Break Time Food Service Associate, your typical duties include:

  1. Customer Service: Greet and thank customers courteously, provide quick and friendly service, handle complaints promptly, and conduct transactions accurately.
  2. Merchandising and Sales: Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
  3. Food Preparation: Follow recipes and guidelines for food prep, inspect products for quality, temperature, and safety, and ensure proper storage and rotation.
  4. Cleanliness: Sanitize equipment and work areas, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure food safety and proper display.
  5. Communication: Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members regarding store operations.
  6. Teamwork and Training: Collaborate with management, complete training, and assist in training new employees.
  7. Technology Use: Learn and operate store technology, perform calculations, and complete reports.
  8. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented personality.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to attend food safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Physical ability to handle products in cold environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform math calculations, operate computers, and follow safety protocols.
  • Willingness to ascend ladders occasionally.
  • Ability to perform duties accurately with minimal supervision.

All candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., pass pre-employment screening, and meet all company policies and safety standards.
