1. Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
2. Maintain a positive attitude; foster a friendly and fun atmosphere through flexibility and teamwork.
3. Create a positive working environment focused on a customer-first approach by greeting and speaking to customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
4. Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
5. Make sandwiches, assist with the Hot Bar, slice meats and cheese, serve food and drinks, and take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
6. Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean (including washing dishes, mopping, etc.).
7. Ensure all self-service packaged products are correctly packaged with proper weights and ingredients.
8. Follow the company Food Safety program.
9. Assist in stocking and proper rotation of products.
10. Expect to be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact with various individuals daily.
• Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts according to company policies.
