NBT in New York operates a company cafeteria, seeking a team member to assist in daily food service and cash handling. You will respond to requests, take orders, and serve customers as cashier, while supporting food preparation and display setup.

Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.18

Responsible for assisting with a full range of duties involved in the daily operation of the cafeteria. This incumbent operates independently and performs a variety of duties in order to provide quality food service for the company. Responds to requests, waits on customers and serves as cashier for customers.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Food preparation experience in a commercial setting a plus

Tasks Performed:

• 60% Performs duties pertaining to preparation, cooking, and serving of food in company cafeteria.
• 10% Routine cleanup of work areas as required.
• 10% Set-up of work areas and displays.
• 5% Receives and stores food and products from various sources.
• 10% Performs duties pertaining to preparation, cooking, and serving of food for special company events.

Physical Requirements:
