Position: Food Service Assistant (3.5 hours/day - 17.5 hours/week)

Location: Bicentennial Elementary School

Start Date: 08/25/2025 for the 2025-2026 School Year

Salary Range: Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, minimum starting salary $15.84 per hour

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and cashiering desirable
• Physically capable of walking, bending, and standing for long periods
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to work with food service and cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and serving
• Handle money and give correct change
• Assist with cleaning in food service areas and equipment
• Follow safety and health practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator, or Director of Food Service
