Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Food Service Assistant in Estes Park, CO for full-time day shifts. You will monitor food temperatures, set up and maintain a clean serving area, prepare and serve items, restock areas, and process payments with a computerized register.

Following HACCP guidelines, you will deliver outstanding customer service and work to ensure a safe, welcoming dining experience for residents and staff. Previous customer service is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Basic math skills.
• On-the-job training provided.
• ServSafe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper food temperatures and maintain a clean serving area.
• Prepare and serve food items; restock and sanitize equipment.
• Receive payments using a computerized register.
• HACCP guidelines followed; ensure safe food handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patrons.
