Job Summary: The Food Service Assistant is responsible for monitoring and recording food temperatures, setting up and maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving food, restocking, cleaning equipment, handling payments, and adhering to food safety guidelines. Must provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively, and establish good working relationships. May operate various food service equipment and should be able to work independently. Requires understanding of sanitation processes and ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Qualifications: Minimum 16 years old, previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Ability to read, write, follow directions, and perform basic math. On-the-job training provided. Depending on location, Serv Safe certification and Basic Life Support may be required.
