Job summary

HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Food Service Aide to support meal preparation, serving in the cafeteria, and assisting with patient trays. You will wash and prepare food, stock supplies, and help maintain a clean kitchen environment.

The role involves operating the dishwasher, handling dishwashing duties, and following safety precautions. No prior experience is required, and you will work as part of a team to provide compassionate, patient-focused dining services.

• You will serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room.
• You will work in the dish room when needed.
• You will work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
• You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
