District / School Overview

Responsibilities

1. Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding School Food Service and the Child Nutrition Program.
2. Prepare and handle food safely. Meals are delivered each night by an outside vendor.
3. Serve food, assist with record keeping, and review delivery tickets to ensure correct meal counts.
4. Responsible for meal preparation, serving line setup, receiving, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment and facilities.
5. Communicate effectively with food service staff, food service director, school faculty, and administration.
6. Attend mandated training (6 hours).
7. Become ServSafe Certified.
8. Display a high level of personal and professional integrity in performing duties.
9. Promote excellent customer service. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Terms

1. Hourly position.
2. Work Monday to Friday when school is in session.
3. Shift from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Qualifications - Required

1. Candidates must be over 18 years old.
2. All employees are subject to background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting.
3. Current authorization to work in the United States is required by the first day of employment.
