Job Summary

The Food Service Assistant is responsible for tasks such as monitoring food temperatures, maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving food, restocking, cleaning equipment, handling payments, and adhering to HACCP guidelines. The role requires excellent customer service, effective communication, and the ability to work independently. Equipment operation may include grills, beverage machines, toasters, and more. Prior food industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 16. Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math. On-the-job training provided. ServSafe certification may be required based on location. BLS certification may also be required.
