Summary: The Food Service Assistant is responsible for duties including monitoring and recording food temperatures, setting up and maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving food, restocking, cleaning equipment, receiving payments, and other related tasks.

Job Description: Complies with HACCP guidelines, provides excellent customer service, communicates effectively, and establishes good working relationships. Maintains quality control standards and operates equipment such as grills, beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers. Experience in food industry preferred. Must be able to work independently, understand food safety and sanitation, and be on feet for most of the day.

Qualifications: Minimum of 16 years old, previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred, able to read, write, and follow instructions, perform basic math. On-the-job training provided. May require ServSafe certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) depending on location.
