Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Food Service Assistant II at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This per diem role requires evenings (3:00 PM - 8:00 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will prepare or serve foods and beverages, assemble and deliver meals to patients and staff, and uphold food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or serve foods and beverages in one or more healthcare food service environments.
• Assemble, serve and/or deliver meals to patients and/or staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in ensuring food safety and quality for patients, visitors, and staff.
