Work Details

• Work Shift: 8 Hours - Evening Shifts (United States of America)
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32
• Salary Range: $14.50 - $22.50

Department Details

4 shifts per week, with additional hours available for cross-training as a Cook and picking up shifts.

Job Summary

The Food Service Assistant monitors food temperatures, maintains cleanliness, prepares and serves food, restocks areas, sanitizes equipment, processes payments, and performs related duties.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
• Maintain quality control standards
• Operate food service equipment (e.g., grills, beverage machines, cash registers)
• Work independently and understand food safety protocols
• Remain on feet for extended periods and walk considerable distances

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math
• On-the-job training provided
• ServSafe certification may be required based on location; BLS may be required depending on the location
