CoxHealth is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support patients, staff, and visitors by preparing and delivering meals with emphasis on quality and sanitation. The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is a flex/PRN role with hours as needed. Education is not required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to stand for long periods.

In the hospital setting Nutrition is crucial to the healing process, the Food Service Assistant serves a vital role in helping patients with this healing process. Performing preparation and delivery of food with a high standard of quality and sanitation. Additional duties will include customer service, serving, cleaning and sanitation. A high level of customer service to internal and external customers, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude is required.This is a flex position.
