Job summary

Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support meal service for Veterans. You will assist with meal selection, tray-line assembly, and serving, while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

The role includes preparing foods, delivering carts to resident areas, and keeping dining spaces clean. Expect shifts with varying daytime and evening hours, with comprehensive benefits and respectful teamwork.

• Assist the Veterans meals, which includes meal selection, tray line assembly, and serving
• Prepare foods as assigned
• Deliver and pick up food carts to/from resident areas
• Clean the dining area – sweep and mop floors, equipment, remove garbage
• Operate dish machine and other kitchen equipment safely
• Lift, carry and transfer heavy food containers – load, stock, label, and rotate

Hourly Pay:

• $16.99 - $17.09 day shift
• $18.99 - $19.09 evening shift
