Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking a Food Service Worker to support patient meals by assembling trays, portioning foods, and delivering meals to units. You will follow safety and sanitation policies and provide excellent service to patients and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior healthcare food service experience preferred. This role offers a collaborative team environment at a large regional hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meal trays and portion food according to dietary guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Provide highest level of courteous service to patients, families, and staff.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food Service Worker is responsible for routine daily tasks related to patient food service. These tasks include, but not limited to; tray assembly, portioning of food; preparation of snacks, tube feedings, and supplements; delivery of floor stock and special items to the units; delivery of patient meal trays into patients rooms. Ensures that all tasks are completed safely, and in strict adherence to Food and Nutrition cleaning /sanitation policies and other related policies and procedures. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent, preferred


• One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred and clerical experience preferred
