St. Barnabas Health System in Pennsylvania is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support food and beverage services, maintain cleanliness, and assist in meal delivery across Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts with no late nights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to move at least 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to stoop, kneel, reach, and lift kitchen equipment.
• Willing to navigate the facility to deliver meals.

Responsibilities

• Work with food and beverage supplies including trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, dishes and glassware.
• Adheres to and applies all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
• Interact with team members, other staff and residents.
• Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
• Follow schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
• Operate dishwasher and disposes of trash.
• Wash, clean and sanitize pots & pans.
• Bus dishes, trays, and food for dining rooms.
• Loads, unloads, and cleans food carts.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
