Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Savannah, GA is seeking a Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide for a full-time role. You will perform patient meals, dining room service and kitchen support, ensuring timely, safe preparation and serving of food to patients, families, staff and visitors.

The position emphasizes quality food service, equipment safety, and teamwork within a caring hospital environment. Previous healthcare food service experience is preferred and a HS diploma is favored.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
• Serve prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assist in clean up.
• Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide high quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
