Mays Chemical is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Sales Professional with a Food Science background to support and grow our footprint in the food, beverage, dairy, nutrition, and supplement markets.

This role is ideal for someone who blends technical know-how with commercial hustle, and who thrives on working closely with customers to deliver smart, science-backed solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Grow revenue by deepening existing accounts and sourcing new customers
  • Sell across industries: Functional Foods, Dairy, Confectionery, Nutrition, Vitamins & Supplements
  • Be a trusted advisor—translate customer needs into product solutions
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospect, quote, close, and follow up
  • Build lasting, multi-level relationships (Procurement, R&D, QA, Marketing, etc.)
  • Identify emerging trends and bring new opportunities to the table
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and supplier partners
  • Represent Mays at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Business (or related field)
  • 3+ years of sales experience with specialty ingredients for food/beverage/dairy manufacturers
  • Knowledge of vitamin applications, dosing, and pre-blend strategies
  • Strong grasp of nutritional ingredients and technical selling
  • Clear, confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
  • CRM-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada
