Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Food Science Analyst to join the New Product Development team.

You will support formulation, testing, and commercialization of innovative fruits and ready-to-eat products, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Work cross-functionally with QA, production, procurement, marketing, and food safety to optimize ingredients, shelf-life, and sensory profiles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field is required.
• 1–3 years in food/beverage product development or QA or R&D.
• Knowledge of food processing, packaging and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD formulation and iterative testing to meet sensorial and shelf-life goals.
• Conduct sensory and shelf-life testing and analyze results.
• Prototype development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and food safety throughout development.
• Source ingredients and work with suppliers for viable products.
