Qualifications

• Must be enrolled or a recent graduate in a Food Science degree program.
• GPA 3.0 preferred; juniors, seniors, or master’s students considered.
• Ability to apply basic science concepts to lab testing under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and pilot plant experiments.
• Develop and execute research hypotheses to completion.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Operate and assemble pilot plant equipment.
• Prepare samples for laboratory analyses.
• Document and maintain accurate records of experiments.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize data.
• Maintain an electronic laboratory notebook.
• Attend team meetings and discussions.
