Responsibilities

The Food Safety Sanitor performs sanitation duties by following the eight steps of sanitation, complying with all safety policies. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with leads and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers as needed.
• Wear PPE such as gloves, face shields, goggles, aprons, boots, and safety glasses.
• Handle chemicals safely with PPE.
• Stand, lift, and crouch for extended periods.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow directions and be accountable.
• Safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.

Work Environment

This role involves working in wet, hot, or cold environments while wearing PPE. Shift times may vary by location.
