Food Safety Team Member – General Labor (Night)

Join us as a Food Safety Team Member – General Labor (Night) at Safe Foods, a Division of Fortrex.

Location and Schedule: Night shift, 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM.

Pay: $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation tasks following the eight steps of sanitation.
• Collaborate with leads and management to ensure procedures are followed.
• Lift hoses, equipment, and chemicals as needed.
• Wear PPE such as gloves, face shields, goggles, aprons, boots, and safety glasses.
• Handle chemicals safely with PPE.
• Stand, lift, and crouch for extended periods during the shift.
• Use Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow instructions and be accountable.
• Safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.

Work Environment

Work involves being in wet, hot, and cold environments while wearing PPE. Shift timings may vary by location.
