Job summary

Amy's Kitchen is seeking a QA/SQF Practitioner and Deputy to the Quality Manager for our White City, Oregon plant. This role leads food safety and sensory programs, supervises QA staff, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure product integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, 1+ years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement across QA disciplines.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and reliable team player with strong communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including QA, Regulatory, Operations, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety program implementation (HACCP, GFSI) and sensory leadership.
• Supervise QA Raw Materials staff and coordinate with Plant Management and Regulatory Affairs.
• Lead audits, supplier investigations, and non-conformance follow-ups.
• Review new products and process changes; approve plant trials and sensory evaluations.
