Job summary

Amy’s Kitchen is seeking a Food Safety and Sensory Technician for the 1st shift in White City, Oregon. The role focuses on coordinating and performing food safety and sensory evaluations, audits, and environmental management to ensure CCP/PCQI standards are met.

Training and growth opportunities are provided in a family‑owned, safety‑mocused environment. The position offers a pay rate of $19.25 per hour, Monday to Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package and on-site meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related experience.
• Experience with food products preferred.
• ERP systems knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits of all areas and investigate deviations.
• Audit CCP/PCP docs and follow up on deviations.
• Test materials per predefined criteria and ensure requirements.
• Assist with sensory evaluation and back-up daily tasting.
• Support Environmental Management program tasks and sample prep.
• Conduct food safety and sensory evaluations and dispositions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse and Sanitation.
• Write daily reports and place non-conforming materials on hold.
