Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a sanitation associate to perform routine cleaning in a production setting, ensuring GMP compliance and accurate documentation.

You will maintain inventory of sanitizing chemicals, follow safety policies, and collaborate with multiple departments; occasional training at Lincoln facility may be required.

This role requires ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs, with flexible hours to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of a food production environment and related janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, team player and able to follow safety policies.
• Positive attitude, ability to work independently, safety and quality conscious.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or longer shifts when needed. Travel to Lincoln facility for occasional coverage/training.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation: Perform routine cleaning of the building as outlined in the Master Cleaning Schedule and sanitize raw ingredient storage containers.
• Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation paperwork, and assist with the Pallet Cleaning Program.
• Inventory: Maintain inventory control of all sanitizing chemicals.
• Food Safety: Follow GMPs and Food Safety Practices, and properly use PPE.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to address production issues.
• Other duties as assigned
