Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Manufacturing Sanitation Technician in Manhattan, KS. You will join the Quality support team to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for product quality and food safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment and production areas, maintaining GMPs, labeling chemicals, and keeping accurate records. Training is provided; work schedule supports a 36-hour structure with 40 paid hours, and medical/dental/insurance benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn and expand skills.
• Basic computer skills to support recordkeeping and documentation.
• Ability to follow safety expectations, PPE, and safe chemical handling.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all equipment and production areas to meet food safety standards.
• Maintain GMPs by inspecting and supporting cleanliness and food safety.
• Clean and sanitize packaging equipment, warehouses, and receiving/shipping areas following procedures.
• Ensure chemical containers are labeled and pest control procedures understood.
• Keep accurate daily records and report safety or quality concerns to management.
