Job summary

LALA US is hiring a Food Safety and Sanitation Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on developing, managing, and training in food safety and sanitation practices within a highly automated production facility.

You'll lead QA teams, oversee environmental monitoring, and ensure SQF compliance, GMP, GLP, and SOP adherence, while driving continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of FDA-regulated food facility experience in a quality/food safety position.
• HACCP, Microbiology, PCQI and SQF certification strongly preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and use laboratory equipment safely and accurately is required.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety policies, GLPs, GMPs and SOPs; take immediate action to address issues.
• Communicates with plant leadership and internal departments.
• Builds collaborative partnerships with management, operations, maintenance, and staff to achieve results.
• Directs teams and motivates personnel; supports QA Manager with leadership.
• Manages environmental monitoring program, sampling and testing; supports investigations.
• Manages sanitation processes, end-of-week and midweek sanitation; reviews records for SQF.
