Job summary

Golden Pet Manufacturing in Seward, Nebraska is seeking a Quality Technician to join our quality team and help ensure product safety and compliance. You will conduct pre-operational and environmental sampling, perform cGMP audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to FSQ requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in a related position, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience with HACCP, SQF, or FSMA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google programs.
• Understanding of food safety and quality systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-operational inspections daily to ensure production areas are cleaned, sanitized and ready for production.
• Collect environmental and product samples and complete testing.
• Conduct verification and monitoring checks and cGMP audits; document results.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions investigations.
