Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a Food Safety/Quality Coordinator to join the Holton FSQ Team. You will lead the plant’s food safety and quality systems, train staff, and drive continuous improvement across meat and sausage processes.

The role requires a track record of expanding responsibilities, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and SQF audits. This is a full‑time on‑site position in Holton, KS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Food Science, Meat Science or Microbiology).
• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience; meat/poultry processing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, USDA/FDA regulations and animal welfare programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and data analysis.
• Experience applying Six Sigma/Lean to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and audits.

Responsabilités

• Foster safety culture and drive continuous improvement, aiming for zero incidents.
• Lead plant FSQ systems and coordinate food safety and quality programs.
• Collaborate across teams to monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee Animal Welfare systems and regulatory compliance.
• Lead audits (internal, customer, regulatory, SQF) and follow‑up actions.
• Train staff on food safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and develop FSQ team members and manage external contractors.
• Plan FSQ capital projects and align with network strategies.
