Job summary

Chick-fil-A at Valparaiso is seeking an Assistant Director of Food Safety & Quality to lead the team in sustaining food safety, quality, and training excellence. You will develop Shift Leads, Trainers, and Team Members, uphold Chick-fil-A standards, and partner with the Executive Director to drive accountability, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

This role requires servant leadership, reliability, and a flexible schedule including alternating shifts and holidays to support restaurant

Qualifications

• Maintain open availability with both evening and morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Shift Leads, Trainers, and Team Members.
• Reinforce operational standards with trainers and team members.
• Enforce Pathway standards and expectations.
• Provide consistent feedback and accountability.
• Identify future leaders and help build the BOH leadership bench.
• Assist in developing Trainers and shifts.
• Provide feedback to leadership on new hires and trainer performance.
• Manage safety, quality, and kitchen leadership across shifts.
• Oversee prep execution and catering for quality and flow.
• Attend weekly director, BOH leadership, and QIV meetings.
