Job summary

General Mills Buffalo Plant is seeking a day-to-day Food Safety and Quality professional to perform analytical testing, interpret GMPs and HACCP procedures. You will enter data, approve products, and lead sensory panels to ensure quality.

The role requires shift flexibility (night shift 6 pm–6 am on a rotating schedule, weekends) and collaboration with operators to uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of QA/lab analytical testing experience or related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to rotate weekend work, on-call and off-shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical (chemical and physical) testing of ingredients, packaging and finished products.
• Enter data into a computer-based information system.
• Approve product against product specifications.
• Troubleshoot out-of-spec product; manage hold orders and make risk-informed decisions.
• Partner with team leaders to evaluate food safety and quality risks and support plant productivity.
• Lead shift sensory panels to ensure products meet sensory requirements.
