Perdue Foods in Georgetown, DE, is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician (1st Shift) to monitor production processes and verify compliance with company, regulatory and GFSI standards. This role supports maintaining a safe, high-quality environment across plant operations.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of related work history; preferred is experience in food quality and/or safety.

Summary
This position is located in the Weigh Price Label (WPL) Deparment. Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician and play a key role in ensuring every product meets the highest standards! In this position, you’ll monitor production processes, verify compliance with company, regulatory, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards, and help maintain a safe and high-quality environment throughout plant operations. This is your chance to make a direct impact on food safety, quality, and customer trust every day.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am-5:00pm, with weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday) as required based on department schedules and production needs.
