Job summary

NuProduce Solutions in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to support robust quality systems and ensure regulatory compliance. The role reports to the FSQA Manager and works with the team to meet customer expectations.

Key functions include maintaining HACCP plans, GMP and SOP compliance, and continuous improvement of QA processes. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays and an hourly salary of $18–$20 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, email, and internet software.
• Experience with Inventory Management Systems and reporting software preferred.
• One year quality assurance experience in the food/produce industry (Produce, RTE, Red Meat, Seafood, Poultry, Pork, Lamb).
• Food HACCP, PCQI, and Food Defense knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality and food safety systems to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Understand and apply Food Safety programs and regulatory requirements, including HACCP plans.
• Chemical preparation & titration verifications.
• Perform HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP, and EM duties as required.
• Support programs and processes to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
