Job summary

Ohio Ag Connection is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join the FSQA team at the Springfield, Ohio facility. The role supports SQF, FSMA compliance, and the Food Safety Plan while coordinating with production and sanitation to ensure product safety.

The position requires flexibility for different shifts and overtime as needed. The successful candidate will execute EMP sampling, manage related software, and communicate microbiological results for in-process and finished

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of GMPs and Federal/State food regulations.
• Strong computer skills, data collection, and reporting.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) sampling with documentation and software maintenance.
• Report microbiological testing results for in-process and final materials.
• Assist in commissioning of equipment and in validation studies with external partners.
• Conduct GMP inspections to ensure sanitary practices and safety.
• Maintain SQF-related policies and contribute to food safety systems.
