Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a FSQA Tech to help uphold food safety and quality at our Kentucky facility. You will perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, document results, and take corrective action when needed to protect product integrity.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in food manufacturing or QA, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Strong communication, math and reading of product specifications are essential for success on

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.
Communication: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reading: Must read and interpret product specifications.
Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs and work in cold/hot temperatures.

Responsibilities

Performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
Documenting and calculating results accurately.
Taking corrective action when necessary, such as alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
Handling additional assignments as requested.
