Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 /year

Pay Grade: 15

The Food Safety Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining QA programs, meeting USDA, FDA, and customer requirements, and ensuring the safety of supplied goods. Must have strong knowledge of Preventive Controls for Human Food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct associate orientation and training on food safety and sanitation
• Conduct manager QA orientation and training sessions
• Provide ongoing guidance and training to unit managers and associates
• Review and evaluate corrective actions from audits and inspections
• Visit locations annually to observe QA behaviors and ensure standards compliance
• Manage complaint handling related to food safety issues

Qualifications:

• BA degree and/or 5 years relevant experience in hospitality or food service with QA/food safety focus
• Credentials such as CPFS, REHS, or RS

Preferred Skills:

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of FDA Food Code and state regulations
