Job summary

Lancesoft INC seeks a Laboratory Technician in Mount Joy, PA to perform routine analytical testing in support of food safety and quality teams. The role involves instrumentation checks, data documentation, and collaboration across functions to maintain safety and regulatory standards.

You will read and interpret safety and operating instructions, and write routine reports as part of daily responsibilities. This is a 6-month position with potential for hire based on performance.

Qualifications

• The Laboratory Technician will perform routine analytical tasks.
• Document results into databases and communicate test results.

Responsibilities

• The Laboratory Technician will complete routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of the food safety quality and operational teams.
• Will perform routine analysis of product testing, monitoring instrumentation performance and conducting tests under intermediate supervision.
• Document results into databases and/or communicate test results.
• Help develop food/feed safety, quality and regulatory culture collaborating cross-functionally.
• Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance tasks, and simple repairs to analytical instrumentation.
• Interpret and document results of tests into active databases and communicate results to internal customers.
• Ensure compliance programs for all tests, monitoring adherence to regulations and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process and final products independently, supporting more complex trials under supervision.
