Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) has an immediate opening for a HACCP Manager at McCormick Place Convention Center. The role designs, implements and maintains HACCP programs to ensure safe food production and regulatory compliance.

The position oversees HACCP teams, conducts trainings, performs audits, and maintains records across culinary, banquet and concession outlets. Salary is $70,000–$74,000 with benefits; open until November 20, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; college degree in microbiology or related food safety program preferred.
• 3–5+ years in high‑volume food safety/QA experience in large venues or food service environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP plans and safety regulations.
• ServSafe certification under Managers Food Safety Program; ServSafe Allergen course completed.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain facility‑wide HACCP and food safety plans.
• Manage HACCP Supervisor and teams; conduct daily critical control point checks.
• Liaise with health inspectors, QA auditors, and third‑party assessors; manage CAPA.
• Oversee allergen controls, recalls, and safety investigations.
• Train staff in HACCP principles and food safety protocols.
• Audit shipments for temperature/date coding; maintain records.
