Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 25 union associates, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the execution of food safety and quality programs on the manufacturing floor, including GMP compliance and documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Operations, Sanitation, Maintenance, and other teams to solve day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Motivate team members to achieve performance goals while maintaining high standards for food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Build team capability through coaching, feedback, employee relations, and development.
  • Identify and support process improvements that strengthen efficiency and quality.
  • Lead teams through business changes while supporting employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations across areas of responsibility.
  • Support regulatory audits and inspections (AIB, FDA, ISO 22000, GHEMS).
  • Maintain knowledge of technical developments and best practices in food manufacturing.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with quality experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. This role will lead approximately 25 union associates and support the execution of food safety and quality programs directly on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory or team lead experience, enjoys coaching employees and resolving operational challenges, and is flexible to support either second or third shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 25 union associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the execution of food safety and quality programs directly on the manufacturing floor, including GMP compliance, sanitation, documentation, and recordkeeping.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Operations, Sanitation, Maintenance, and other teams to solve day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Motivate team members to achieve short-term and long-term performance goals while maintaining high standards for food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Build team capability through effective coaching, constructive feedback, employee relations, and professional development.
  • Identify and support process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency, quality performance, and food safety execution.
  • Lead teams through business and operational changes while supporting employee engagement and minimizing disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations across all areas of responsibility.
  • Support and oversee regulatory audits and inspections, including AIB, FDA, ISO 22000, and GHEMS.
  • Maintain current knowledge of technical developments, industry standards, and best practices related to food manufacturing and quality operations.
  • Provide visible leadership across second or third shift based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
