Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is hiring in King of Prussia, PA for a food service role in the Food Hall. You will deliver food and beverages from kitchens to outlets, stock and clean, and provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires maintaining professional conduct, following health and sanitation guidelines, and effective English communication with guests and coworkers. Applicants must be 21+ and able to obtain RAMP certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to obtain RAMP alcoholic certification.
• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp.
• Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours.
• Repeated bending and lifting.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and beverages from the kitchens to the outlets in the Food Hall.
• Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, condiments, beverages, and related supplies.
• Provides excellent customer service to dining guests.
• Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment with flawless delivery and service.
• Promotes positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintaining professionalism.
• Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adheres to health and sanitation guidelines including food and beverage policy and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of uniform and appearance.
• Prepares food orders, sets trays, and transports items to service areas.
• Maintains breakdown area and condiment tables.
• Completes all set-up, stocking and closing duties on time.
• Operates in a fast-paced environment and adheres to liquor laws as applicable.

Summary

• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility

• Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass all Training and Tests associated with job
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
