Job summary

ST JOE RESORT OPERATIONS LLC is seeking a Food Runner to support servers by delivering the correct meals, seating guests, and assisting with drink orders to guests at our Alys Beach property in Florida.

You will maintain guest satisfaction through friendly service, accuracy, and teamwork; responsibilities include replenishing drinks, preparing beverage supports, bussing tables, and upholding sanitation standards in both FOH and BOH areas.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
• CPR Training (can be obtained after employment)

Responsibilities

• Deliver the correct food to guests.
• Seat guests at their tables.
• Assist servers with drink orders and refills.
• Refill water jugs for guests.
• Prepare sauce cups for servers as needed.
• Prepare fruit for bartenders as needed.
• Bus tables and expo line prep.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned.
• Report unsafe conditions to the manager on duty.

Job SummaryThe food runner position assists the servers by taking guests the correct food and drink to the corresponding table and seat position.
