Job summary

Wild Dunes Resort, part of Destination by Hyatt, is hiring a Server Assistant / Busser to support the restaurant service team at Isle of Palms, SC. You will help keep tables clean, assist servers, and maintain dining room cleanliness to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality drive, solid communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required; ServSafe Alcohol certification or ability to obtain is

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas.
• Refill water glasses and assist with bread, beverages, and other guest needs as directed.
• Support servers in delivering food and condiments when needed.
• Restock supplies to ensure readiness for service.
• Communicate effectively with team members to provide smooth, timely service.
• Assist with floor setup and breakdown before and after service.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide a friendly and professional presence in the dining room.
