Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Food Runner to join its team in a high-energy luxury setting. You will support the food & beverage and culinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of orders and high-quality guest experiences. Responsibilities include stocking service areas, garnish prep, and table service, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn, with opportunities to grow within the hospitality ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize food service areas in preparation of service.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates and assembling orders.
• Deliver orders to tables accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support the food & beverage and culinary teams with orders.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and cooking preparations.
• Assist with bussing and table setup as needed.
• Clean and maintain equipment and supplies; ensure proper operation.
• Deliver on guest expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Your Journey

• Stocks and organizes food service areas in preparation of service

• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates and assembling orders, as needed

• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods, to ensure that all orders are delivered in a timely manner

• Primarily assist the food & beverage and culinary team with food orders

• Have full knowledge of the menu and cooking preparations

• Able to deliver food to table accurately, while identifying and describing each plate

• Assist with bussing tables or setting up tables when necessary

• Clean-up of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order

• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments

• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

• You have basic communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift

• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
