Food Runner
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr

Job Summary:

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by delivering food items correctly, at the proper temperature, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalized service to all guests.
  • Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, and ordering or purchasing supplies as needed.
  • Efficiently delivering food items.
  • Communicating guest food orders accurately to ensure flawless execution.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of appliances and counter space, wiping spills, and removing trash.
  • Restocking self-service food and supplies.
  • Washing and returning serving equipment.
  • Participating in the preparation, setup, and service of dinner, and returning reusable supplies to storage.
  • Following company rules as outlined in the M&R Employee Handbook.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-end environment providing excellent guest service.
  • Service-oriented attitude.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume restaurants or hotels preferred.
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical ability to bend, climb, reach, and move quickly without discomfort.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
