Cowlitz Indian Tribe is hiring a Food Runner/Busser to support the restaurant team in Ridgefield, WA. The role focuses on bussing, running food, and assisting wait staff and barback duties to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The expeditor coordinates communication between the kitchen and servers. The position requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and complying with health and safety measures.Starting wage is $17.13 per hour with potential placement higher for experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
• Valid Food Handler’s card (onsite certification provided).
• Able to stand and move quickly for an 8–10 hour shift.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in a smoking environment on the casino floor.
• Willing to follow health and safety measures (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Promote superior guest service.
• Set up and maintain the expedition side of the line.
• Set up and maintain server station drink receptacles including filling ice.
• Maintain stock of NA beverage and paper goods.
• Assist with taking requisitions from the cage and warehouse.
• Assist servers and bartenders with table maintenance.
• Coordinate between kitchen and service staff to ensure accuracy of orders.
• Run food following proper service methods.
• Prepare left-over food for takeout as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
