Deschutes Brewery is seeking a part-time Food Runner in our downtown Bend Public House. You will expedite dishes from the kitchen to guest tables in a fast-paced setting, while assisting with host duties and guest requests. The role involves standing for long periods, moving quickly, and lifting objects as needed.

This entry-level position offers training and growth opportunities, with weekend availability required and a chance to be part of a celebrated brewery team in Bend.

Job description

Deschutes Brewery is looking for a part-time Food Runner to join the team at our downtown Bend Public House! This position is responsible for expediting food from the kitchen to guest's tables in a timely and efficient manner. Attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to work in a high volume work environment are critical for this role. Food Runners are part of our front of house (FOH) service team, and also assist with host duties, fulfilling guest requests, clearing and re-setting tables, set up and cleanup of restaurant areas, and other duties as needed. This is a physical role and requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods, and safely lift and carry heavy objects while remaining calm and focused.

Must be 18 years or older, and weekend availability is required. This is an entry level role, with opportunities for training and growth into other positions!
