Report: Food and Beverage Manager

About Ridglea Country Club: The property on which Ridglea Country Club now stands was once owned by Bernie L. Anderson and Morris E. Berney. They operated it as a public golf course, with dreams of expanding it into a recreation center for the Ridglea area. The Luther Group purchased the course, and Clayton Luther aimed to build a country club of the highest quality in Ridglea, emphasizing excellence and dignity.

Job Summary

Ensure food is delivered in a timely manner to members and guests, maintaining quality and presentation standards.

Job Duties/Requirements
  • Arrive on time and in proper uniform
  • Obtain Food Handlers Certification
  • Maintain a clean station and ensure it is stocked and member-ready (condiments, dressings, napkins, plates, fruit cups, etc.)
  • Carry large trays from the kitchen to tables
  • Ensure station cleanliness and readiness for service
  • Know all table, seat, and section numbers
  • Prepare and place garnishes on food items
  • Know menu items and stay on the line
  • Ensure dishes match tickets, including modifiers and special requests
  • Garnish plates properly and meet food quality standards upon delivery
  • Handle plates carefully and run food promptly to maintain temperature
  • Deliver correct food to the correct table
  • Greet guests professionally before serving
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff
  • Handle and store food and supplies properly, monitor temperatures, and rotate stock
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and interact professionally with members
  • Follow checklists and standard operating procedures
