Job summary

Northwood Hospitality LLC in West Hollywood is seeking a friendly, professional restaurant host/guest service associate. You will greet guests, deliver orders, coordinate with servers and kitchen staff, and ensure accurate and timely service while maintaining a clean, safe dining area.

You will stock condiments, reset tables, promote hotel amenities, participate in briefings, and support team collaboration to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Food Handler Certification required once hired.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately to guests.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist guests with requests and communicate additional needs to servers or management.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
• Stock and replenish condiments, bread, utensils, napkins, and other service items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding ticket times, order status, and guest needs.
• Support food quality standards by ensuring orders are complete and delivered correctly.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Promote hotel amenities and services through positive guest interactions.
• Attend team meetings and pre-shift briefings as required.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times.
• Help resolve guest concerns and notify supervisors of issues requiring additional assistance.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
