Food Runner

PeopleReady of South Portland, ME is now hiring Food Runners in Portland, ME! We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to assist with delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:

Pay Rate:

$18.20 - $18.20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Food Runner:

• Deliver food orders to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist servers in preparing tables and ensuring orders are accurate
• Communicate with kitchen staff to coordinate order delivery
• Ensure food is presented properly and meets quality standards
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Previous experience in a restaurant is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long periods
